Replacement UPVC Door Handles

Lever/Pad

Before screwing the handle into the frame, it is a good idea to ensure that it is in the proper position, and you can do this by inserting your finger into the space between the door frame and the handle to ensure that it is level.

Lever/Lever

Lever door handles function as an a multi-point lock using an Euro cylinder and can be found on a majority of double doors made of upvc, aluminum doors and a few wooden doors. They come in two forms, having the lever inside and a paddle outside. Sprung – these come with a spring cassette inside the backplate to bring the handle lever to an upright position. Drooping lever handles on door handles could be the result of many factors. The most frequent cause is that the fixings are too tight and the lever bearing to bind against the door. It is also possible that the levers haven’t been adjusted at the right angle, which stretches the latch mechanism and prevents it from fully springing into motion.
